AFTER YOUR HEALING PRAYER SESSION

We encourage you on a daily basis to pray aloud the Warfare Prayer and to read the Love Letter from Father God (pg. 3)

We encourage you to implement the following Principles in your life.

PRINCIPLES FOR HELPING YOU TO WALK IN GREATER FREEDOM IN CHRIST

1. Take time or make time to read, learn, and meditate on God’s Word every day. (Joshua 1:8) (Colossians 3:16). We encourage you to read through the entire Bible. Here are Two Daily Bible Reading Plans to help you accomplish this: Biblegateway.com-click on reading plans; OR
cbn.com-click on Christian living then CBN Bible

2. Pray often. Cultivate an overall attitude and habit of prayer. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

3. Attend church on a regular basis. Make friends with brothers and sisters in Christ and become part of a church community. Isolating yourself makes you an easy target for the “roaring lion.” (Hebrews 10:25)(1 Peter 5:8)

4. Break away from unhealthy friendships and choose positive, clean-living friends who put Jesus first. (James 4:4) Do not return to former habits that led to sin. AVOID magazines, books, movies, TV shows, music, video games, websites, and cell phone applications that stimulate ungodly thinking. (Philippians 4:8)

5. Become part of a Bible study or discipleship group and learn God’s Word! Learn as part of a group with others who have already acquired wisdom in the Lord and in His Word and seek to APPLY it on a daily basis. Don’t try to “go it alone.” (Proverbs 27:17; 2 Timothy 2:2; Psalm 71:18).

6. Avoid deliberate sin. (1 John 5:18) Should you unavoidably sin, confess it immediately, receive forgiveness and cleansing. This will stop the enemy from having any legal access to harass you. (1 John 1:9)

7. Cultivate an attitude of thankfulness in all things. Be a praising, thankful person, always giving thanks to God for His continuous goodness. (Ephesians 5:20; l Thessalonians 5:18)

8. Expect continuous and increasing freedom where Satan has previously bound you or used you for his purposes. MOVE FORWARD without looking back. Don’t get wrapped up in guilt and shame. Remember, condemnation is not from God. It is from the enemy. (Philippians 3:13-14)
(Romans 8:1)

9. Concentrate your thoughts and plans on what pleases and glorifies Christ, and you will have victory all the time.
(Colossians 3:1-3)

10. Above all else, love at all times. Ask the Lord to help you love others as He loves them. (1 Peter 4:8; Proverbs 10:12; Matthew 22:36-40)

11. If the enemy tempts you into negative thinking, say out loud, “No, I rebuke that!” or “No, I refuse to receive that!” Then repeat statements from Scripture, such as “the Lord is my shield; He is my help in times of trouble.” You will “shift” the atmosphere AND practice the process of transforming your mind, all at the same time!
