Can my husband/wife and I come and be ministered to in the same session at the same time?
Unfortunately, our sessions are structured for individuals only. We can coordinate for the 2 sessions to occur simultaneously in 2 different rooms.
Do I have a choice of the facilitator and prayer team member who will be meeting with me to pray?
You do have a choice of the ones available.
What if I do not want prayer team members in my session who attend my church?
We are sensitive to your privacy needs and keep that in mind when scheduling. Please let us know so we can ensure your request is honored.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for my session?
Ask God to give you an open heart and spiritual ears to hear him. You do not need to bring your Bible or anything to the session.
Can you do sessions by Zoom?
Yes, we have done them as far away as Africa.
Do you have sessions with children?
We have an entire ministry team just for children.
Why do I need a session before I can schedule a session for my child?
It is helpful to have a parent’s input and information about the child prior to
the child’s prayer session. After experiencing the session yourself, you will be better able to respond to questions and your children’s experience during their session. Also, at times, the parent may also need healing.
How long shall I plan to be there for an inner healing session?
Adult sessions last for three hours, and children’s sessions last for an hour and a half.
What is the cost or suggested donation for a TruHope inner healing session?
Our suggested donation is $75.00. The suggested donation for the children’s session is $45. If you cannot donate, we would appreciate it if you supported us when you had the opportunity and/or became a monthly partner.
Can I still have a session if I do not have money for a donation?
Of course, you can always donate at a later time online as you are able.
What if I am uncomfortable with someone of the opposite sex being in the session as a prayer team member or facilitator?
Simply let the scheduler know, and they will make sure that your request is honored.
How many prayer team members will be in the session with me?
There is generally a facilitator who leads the prayer time and a prayer team member who is taking notes, praying, and providing the facilitator with anything they hear from the Holy Spirit. Sometimes, an additional member may be present in the session. This often occurs when new team members are being trained.
What if I need more than one session?
You are free to come for more than one session, but we suggest that you let a few weeks go between them. Sometimes, it takes that long for things to process.
What kind of training do your prayer ministers have?
Our team goes through extensive training over a 7-week period in various inner healing methods such as the Emmanuel Approach, Sozo, Transformation Prayer, Journey to the Father’s Heart, Spiritual Warfare and Deliverance training, and more. Upon completion of their training, as well as a background check and interview with several members of our leadership team, the trainee is allowed to sit in session to observe, pray, and learn. After months of doing so, they are evaluated then they are then allowed to participate in sessions. In addition, the facilitators and prayer team members continually pursue additional training both within and outside the walls of TruHope.
Are your prayer team members licensed professional counselors?
We are not licensed therapists or counselors. We belief that Jesus is the very best counselor there is and that the most effective way to be healed of emotional wounds and trauma, break generational patters and obtain freedom is by connecting directly to HIM and letting HIM do the unique counseling and healing only He can do.
How can I partner with TruHope financially on a regular basis?
Since TruHope operates solely on the donations of those we serve and those who believe in what we do and want to regularly support us. Donations can be mailed by check or given on-line by using the Donate tab.
